GameScape3D
A while back I wrote about the Maori Wars that I read Wargames Illustrated #459.
Maori Wars (or actually playing with my toys)
I subscribe to a couple of different wargaming magazines. I enjoy reading the history and I enjoy seeing the scenarios. I came to the realization though that I want to play the scenarios, but it is…
I actually printed and painted all the Maori, but I couldn’t find the right models I wanted for the British, and I didn’t have time/money to finish off my board like I wanted. While I was messing about on MyMiniFactory, I found these files on the front page Beach Shore Set 1 for Integration with 1 inch styrofoam, and I realized that they would make a great addition to this board. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the first set to print properly, due to my printer turning into a garbage. Look, these things are still consumer grade, and they break down after a while. I always pay for the extra cost of getting a warranty on them, and so far, I’ve always been able to get them replaced without much hassle at all.
Suffice it to say, after getting my new printer all set up, I was able to get them to print without a problem. These are marketed as being able to but up against 1 inch foam, and they do. They work great.
I still need to print the tops of them, but as you can see they line up great, and they look really good too.
GameScape3d make a wide variety of terrain for all your wargaming needs. They have cliffs, castles, rivers, etc. I am highly interested in these Low Profile Riverbank System: Core Set. I always need more rivers for terrain projects.
I know you can craft these things yourself, and they might be better, but I am a hammer and nail guy. All I have is a hammer, so everything looks like a nail to me. AKA, I’m a 3d printer, not a crafter. I will craft some things as I make the time to do it, but I would rather just print it, and paint it later.
Go check them out, they have some really good looking stuff.

Terrific idea!
