Lost Heresy Tribes
I know, I know what you are thinking, here goes Thomas hawking another stl provider and another monthly subscription. Well you are correct, but I like to continue to show off what I think is fun, and what people are doing.
This month, I received a free subscription to Lost Heresy’s Tribe. I have subscribed in the past when there were things I wanted, and MMF wanted to remind me of this great creator. He makes a variety of different minis, but I think Bill (the owner/creator) makes mostly Silver Bayonet items. This month is all about the Silver Bayonet Bones of Albion (not an affiliate link).
This month is all about draugr and of course this beautiful lindwyrm. Ok, it’s not the sculpt I was looking for, but it will work well. I actually have some draugr from Red Nebular which I like a lot. These will fit in pretty well with those, but I won’t be printing them, since I think I did like 20 at one point.
You get 6 Undead Viking Draugr warriors, a formidable Draugr Berserker, a crooked decaying Draugr Shaman, and a colossal ancient Lindwyrm.
The welcome pack consists of 3 spectral warriors, a great sculpt of Sean Bean, some trench heresy models (which might make you not want to support him, which is understandable, given our views on Splendor of Fire), standing stones (great for the Bones of Albion supplement), and a very strange looking troll.
I printed the spectral soldiers and the draugr wizard. I tried to use the presupported lindwyrm model, but Chitubox kept choking on it, so I went and did autosupports. For some creators I prefer autosupports anyways. For instance The Printing Goes on and On, I do not like their supports at all. I prefer my own supports for their minis.
What can I say, great looking models, well supported, easy to print. Next month, I believe he is going to start working on a French warband. I’ll have to look and see what he is releasing before I subscribe again, but that is how I usually support these creators, get the things I think are cool, and keep an eye on them for later.
