I’m going to split this into a couple of different posts of the next few days. I finally got my copy, and it is filled with the usual stuff. Except new crew members, which was surprising. I was hoping for some new archetypes. While not necessary, I always find them fun.
This book does add to the starship encounters from the Bold Endeavor book. They are, as always, optional, so if you don’t have that book, or don’t want to buy it.
There is also no solo campaign. I have not read the book yet, so there might be suggestions, but I’ve got to get started printing, and painting new fun toys.
And that is what I’m writing about today. 3d printing ideas for Death Vector.
There are a variety of new monsters. For some reason, my mind is going all Star Wars and Genestealer Cults from the 40k universe.
I’m also trying in the process of starting a new business, and I had an unexpected expense come up, so I’m not going to do a deep dive in finding new things to print, but using what I have in my existing collection.
If you have suggestions on what to use let us know in the comment section, and I’ll get them added.

Terrain
Scenario 1: The Hexigraph - Silent Spectres Gang Traps from Print Minis You need 7 of these.
Scenario 2: The Wire Pit - Silent Spectres Gang Traps from Print Minis, I can’t tell if you need 2 or 4 of these, but you should have 7 from the first scenario. Also a 6 inch pit From Aether Studios
Scenarios 3: The Rubbish Collectors - Imperial Mining Droid from Darkfire Designs. You need 3 of these.
Scenario 4: The Partical Sluice - You need 8 8” walls. I’m probably going to with these Risor District 2.0 from Print Minis
Scenario 5: The Coffin Ship - You need 24 caskets (Derelict space ship ancient apparatuses set from Warlock3dModels and 3 2” Towers and 2 Doorways. Probably going to use the Risor District 2.0 from Print Minis again. I haven’t quite decided on what I wand to do here. I also have this Forest Covered Walker from War Bear 3d Studios, and I’ve been meaning to print it for a long time now.
Scenario 6: Floating on the Acidic Seas: You need 4 12” by 9” Islands and 3 7” x 8” Islands. I’ll probably print these from Aether Studios - AEJUNK16 - Dorothy's
Scenario 7: The Metal Forest: 1/3 of the table should be covered with “metal” trees. Alien Trees by Wargames Atlantic. This is another one that I’m still thinking hard on. Do I want to do actual trees? Do I want to something more exotic like some kind of metal towers?
Scenario 8: Into the Matrix - This one only requires a 8x8 chessboard.
Misc: As always, you need as much scatter terrain as you want to use. My collection is seriously lacking in small pieces of terrain. So I probably need to get some of that sorted out.
Machinery Pack - Scatter Terrain from 2nd Dynasty
Science and Medical Pack - Scatter Terrain from 2nd Dynasty
Bed Pack - Scatter Terrain from 2nd DynastyControl Panel Pack - Scatter Terrain from 2nd Dynasty
Computer Pack - Scatter Terrain from 2nd Dynasty
Trash Piles x6 from Print Minis
Jackals Scatter Terrain from One Page Rules
Flatline City: City Scatter Pack One (Outdoor) from Saucerman StudiosI wish I could say this post was sponsored by Print Minis, but they are my go to for cyber monstrosities. I’ve been a long time sponsor of their Tribes on MyMiniFactory.
Later this week, I hope to have up a proper review of the content, and I would like to do map layouts for each of the scenarios. I’m not 100% certain I will have time to do that. I would like to actually get the games set up with proper terrain, but that will probably have to wait. Printer only goes brrr so fast.
This game is so underrated !
For "metal trees", I'd say find a weird shape and paint it shiny.
Something like this:

Or cholla wood has a sci-fi look already - just paint it up.
