Stargrave Death Vector 3d Printing Edition
The next Stargrave supplement (Death Vector) comes out at the end of the month. We don’t have all the details yet.
From the Amazon page:
Welcome to the Outlaw Technology Sector, a vast region of space cut off from the rest of the Ravaged Galaxy. Once a haven to criminals, political dissidents, and rogue scientists, it was overrun by an artificial intelligence intent on wiping out all organic life. Only through the combined might of the pre-Last War great empires was this menace brought down, and their retribution was terrible. Now the Outlaw Technology Sector is a dead place, a nightmare place. Navigational systems refuse to chart a course there, calling such paths 'death vectors'. But the independent crews survive by going where others fear to tread, and the Sector contains technology not found anywhere else…
Death Vector is a supplement for Stargrave, containing 8 new scenarios set inside the Outlaw Technology Sector. Instead of the pirate fleets, the players contend with the legions of cyborg automatons that still prowl the region, hunting organic life. Paired with these scenarios is a new campaign element, 'The Network', which brings cyberpunk hacking into the game. This book also includes a new space encounters table to be used for adventures in the OTS, a new advanced technology table, and a bestiary filled with cybernetic horrors.
Also, North Star Military Figures has released their pre-release bundles.
But of course this article is not about physical minis, these are not really my favorite. I know the setting is “grimdark”, but it doesn’t have to be. I mean an mean AI that has run amok is pretty dark, but I’m over the dirtiness, and grittiness of the painting dark and grim figures. Maybe it’s my time spent in the Napoleonic world, or my next super secret project that will hopefully be coming in mid June (if you can’t guess from that).
I’m personally probably going with Trader’s Galaxy Bot Warline, which you can get from MyMiniFactory, or if you prefer physical minis, from their Store
Or if you like for you models to do double duty, you can always grab some 3d models from Print Minis. They are meant for both Necromunda and 40K. While we aren’t huge fans of the games from GW anymore, you can read more about our opinions in other articles, the models themselves are still great. They print extremely well, they are presupported, I have never had any failures with them. They clean up extremely well.
And they have a ton of other models for you Stargrave Crew.
Personally my next crew is going to be Ewoks from Warbear Studios
Maybe a little silly, but like I said, I’m down for silliness. I like painting bright pretty things. Why should I be so dark, when my soul is filled with the joy of the Risen Lord? The world ain’t perfect, but my Savior Jesus is, and one day all will be bright and fully of joy.
Anyways, this was another shill article highlighting creators I like. This is just free advertising. I have no affiliation with any of these creators, and every model I’m going to use was paid for by me.
