One more. The hills here are discarded styrofoam, once again, just painted brown and covered with glue, playground sand, and static grass. The bunker in the center is...you guessed it, a piece of packing styrofoam that looked vaguely bunker-shaped to me.
They were throwing this piece of packaging away at the office...not sure what it was for, maybe a printer? But I saw a fortress. The bunker on top is made of discarded styrofoam.
Styrofoam packing material is great. These ruined buildings were made from styrofoam corners, flat styrofoam pieces, and cardboard. There are four of them, so you can position them individually or make one big ruined Styrofoamgrad.
More industrial scatter, both using pieces from the Weapons and Warriors game. The boiler on the left is part of a booze bottle, while the one on the right is a CO2 cartridge.
Dude, those are inspired! Those table saws look so good! I used to use expended CO2 powerlets in my primitive Necromunda terrain of the late 90s all the time. Blast from the past! And I dig that Alf statue!

Looks great. So many great ideas here. What did you coat them in? Just paint?
Cheap $2/bottle paint from the hobby aisle at Wal-Mart. Broken styrofoam has a natural rocky texture that lends itself to dry brushing.
Google is telling me I need access. Maybe they are not public?
Try it now, I just opened access to everything I linked.
Simple, functional, and of impressive size! Well done!

Here's my trashbashed sci-fi town! With signs discovered from one of your trashbashed buildings:

Gang boxes and water filters! I see you are also a man of culture.
Such great sci-fi shapes already!
One of my favorite topics! I've made a ton of junk terrain for Frostgrave.
Here we have some industrial scatter, made from toys and board game pieces:

Lastly, a tomb made from a sand mold and a repurposed statue of a certain 80's TV alien. :)

Thanks! :)
That Alf statue is great.
Oh boy! This does look awesome :)
